On Tuesday, January 30, 2018, the Dean of College of Engineering at the University of Zakho, Dr. Lokman A. Abdulkareem has visited Helmholtz Zentrum Rossendurf (HZDR) in Dresden, Germany. In his 10- day visit, Dr. Lokman has held a number of meetings with the key members of the Technology Transfer office.

They highlighted the continuation of the last three years bilateral collaborations between the two sides in scientific and academic fields, for instance; joint research projects, staff and student training programs such as the previous summer training courses that focused on multiphase flow measurement techniques, scholarships, student exchange and fellowship programs, joint degree programs, workshops and especially laboratory facilities.
